Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO)

The Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO) oversees Greece's marketing strategies and tourism promotion worldwide. Its primary objective is to develop and promote Greece's tourism offerings by crafting and executing strategic plans and initiatives domestically and internationally through its network of offices in 17 countries. The organisation arranges FAM and press trips, conducts workshops and roadshows in specific markets, collaborates with tour operators, and participates in global tourism fairs to enhance Greece's global reputation.

Through its website visitgreece.gr and Visit Greece app, GNTO invites travellers globally to explore Greece's rich history, culture, picturesque beaches, outdoor activities, city breaks, renowned cuisine, nightlife, and shopping experiences. GNTO focuses on promoting both well-known and lesser-known destinations and experiences across Greece, emphasizing sustainability principles in its initiatives.

GNTO actively contributes to formulating tourism promotion programs for each of Greece's 13 regions, working closely with regional authorities. Additionally, it collaborates with the National Centre for Public Administration and Local Government to develop educational projects for stakeholders in the domestic tourism industry, including both public and private sector entities.
