Welcome Party

All delegates are invited to attend the Welcome Party on Monday 7 October at the Romanos Pool, Costa Navarino. The evening will feature a water ballet performed by four Olympic synchronised swimmers. Their graceful movements will be harmoniously synchronised to music. Following the performance, there will be a set from a renowned DJ.

The event offers the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow industry professionals and ease into the Convention spirit while being warmly welcomed to Greece by our Hosts.

Host Party

Experience an enchanting evening on the second night of the Convention at the Host Party taking place at Gialova Beach.

Delight in an array of local Greek delicacies and drinks and immerse yourself in the exuberance of a traditional Greek "panigiri"—a festival of community and celebration. This grand festivity, often dedicated to a local church or saint or marking a joyous occasion, unites everyone in a vibrant display of culture and camaraderie. Be captivated by folk dancers and musicians who will inspire you to join the dance, while a DJ playing international dance hits will keep the celebrations going.

Opening Ceremony

This year’s Travel Convention hosts, the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO), will formally welcome delegates to Greece during the Opening Ceremony.

The ceremony will feature a captivating abstract film exploring the vibrant colours and sounds of Greece as well as a mesmerising dance procession inspired by ancient Greek statues and the soothing sounds of the sea.

Members' Reception

ABTA members are invited to join ABTA’s Board and senior leadership team for a reception on the first evening of the Convention on Monday 7 October – prior to the Opening Ceremony.

The reception will take place at the Anax Lounge in The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort.

Meet the Media

Meet the Media will be attended by the travel journalists invited to attend this year’s Travel Convention. A few places will be available for delegates wishing to join them at this event.

The evening reception will take place at Between, a beach side bar located at the W Costa Navarino, on Tuesday 8 October.
