The judging panels are tasked to ensure that only the most outstanding entries are awarded the travel marketing industry’s most sought-after accolades.
The panels include professionals from across the travel industry, including tour operators, travel agents, airlines and cruise lines, as well as marketing, advertising, PR and digital agencies, TV and social media platform specialists.
The judging panel will be announced shortly.
Entries will be judged on the following criteria.

Rationale | How difficult was the task or challenge? How logical and strategic was the solution? |
Execution | How well were communication channels selected, exploited and evaluated? |

TRAVEL BRAND OF THE YEAR / DESTINATION BRAND OF THE YEAR
Brand Impact | What did the brand do that made it stand out from its competitors? |
Quality | Does the brand represent quality and does it have longevity? |
Reputation | How is the brand perceived by travel trade and/or consumers? |
Leadership | Is the brand a market leader in its sector? Does it lead in innovation? |
Distinction | How is the brand differentiated from competitors? Is it unique in its marketplace? |
Creativity | How imaginative or impressive was the agency's creative or media solution? |
Strategy | How effective was the agency's strategy to achieve their goals effectively – creative approach, use of resources etc. |
Execution | How well were communication channels selected, exploited and evaluated? |

TRAVEL MARKETER / PR OF THE YEAR
Judges will be looking for an individual whose work has set new standards, inspired peers and positively impacted results in 2025. If shortlisted, the entrant will be asked to present to the judges ahead of the final decision. This will include a 15-minute presentation followed by a Q&A. |
CREATIVE TRAILBLAZER
This award is uniquely positioned to recognise creative brilliance. The judges will be looking for work that showcased a fearless approach; an original creative that challenged conventional boundaries to achieve its goals. |
The winner of each category will be awarded a Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum standard Award. The standard will be determined by the average points awarded by the judges.
Platinum | 8.76 - 10 points |
Gold | 7.51 - 8.75 points |
Silver | 6.26 - 7.5 points |
Bronze | 5 - 6.25 points |
NB: any entries scoring fewer than five points will be eliminated.
