Transfer to Platja de Santa Ponça, a popular beach in Calvia, and take part in a meaningful beach cleanup organised by the Mallorca Preservation Foundation in collaboration with easyJet holidays. Your participation fee will be match funded by easyJet holidays, doubling your impact.
The morning begins with a welcome and activity overview, followed by the distribution of materials and a hands-on cleanup where you’ll remove litter and plastic waste from Mallorca’s coastline. After the cleanup, the collected items will be sorted and there will be an educational talk covering the impact of plastic pollution on local ecosystems, the origins and types of waste found, and practical ways tourists can reduce their environmental footprint. The talk will also explore how travel agencies can promote more responsible tourism through communications.
This activity is designed to encourage active participation from the tourism sector in environmental protection, empower you to become ambassadors of environmental awareness among travellers, and support the vision of a plastic-free Mallorca through collaboration between civil society and the travel industry.
