Cat Jones is the founder and CEO of Byway, which offers flight-free holidays focused on experiencing the world deeply and wonderfully by travelling through it rather than flying over it.

A certified B Corp, Byway was founded in March 2020 with the mission to make flight-free travel mainstream. Since then it has grown over 200% year-on-year, launching pioneering technology to make it easier than ever to book overland holidays, informed by two million miles of expert knowledge.

Before founding Byway, Cat was Managing Director at Founders Factory and SVP at video ad tech start-up Unruly. She has never owned a car and her annual family holiday is by train, ferry, bus and bike, whatever the weather, and she has now been on 13 Byway holidays.
