Dr Rong Huang is the current Interim Head of Plymouth Business School at the University of Plymouth, UK. Specialising in business management, HRM, tourism and hospitality, and marketing, she has delivered programmes ranging from Level 4 to Level 7 since 1998, across the UK, Italy, Greece, and China. Dr Huang’s research interests align with her teaching, contributing, and publishing extensively to topics in tourism, education, and business research.  She has also successfully guided many doctoral and postdoctoral researchers to their completions.

Dr Huang has significant quality assurance expertise, serving as an external advisor and examiner for various British universities. She has also acted as a programme and institutional reviewer for national quality assurance bodies in multiple countries, including the UK, Malta, Lithuania, Estonia, and Georgia.
