There are a variety of membership options available, dependant on where you are in your travel and tourism career journey. All Members have access to the following membership benefits:

INDIVIDUALs


ITT Fellow (F INST TT)

£200 per annum
plus a £30 one-off joining fee.

Applicants must have at least five years’ experience in the travel and tourism industry or hold a title equivalent to CEO, Director, Owner, Chairman or Educational Lecturer.

ITT Fellows have the right to use ITT post-nominal title,
F Inst TT
. Titles may only be used whilst you are a current Member of the Institute.


A certificate of membership is available at £27.50 including VAT. If you would like to purchase one, please select the relevant option on your application form.

ITT Member (M INST TT)

£175 per annum
plus a £30 one-off joining fee.

Applicants must have at least three years’ experience in the travel and tourism industry, or equivalent educational establishment experience.

ITT Members have the right to use ITT post-nominal title,
M Inst TT.
Titles may only be used whilst you are a current Member of the Institute.

Introductory Member

£50 per annum.

Open to applicants with fewer than three years’ experience in the travel industry.


NB: this membership category is available for up to three consecutive years only.

Retired Member

£45 per annum.

Members of ITT can apply for Retired Member status at the end of their career. All benefits remain the same with the addition of the option to attend an annual Retired Members Lunch hosted by the ITT Chairman.



Organisations


Corporate Membership

£600 up to three named Members.

£825 up to five named Members.

£1150 up to ten named Members.

Companies can apply for Corporate membership which allows for multiple individual memberships, with three tiers available from three to ten named Members. Named Members can attend ITT events at the Member rate, including access to the ITT Conference. 

In addition to the standard Member benefits, Corporate Members can also use the ITT logo on company materials online and in print.

Named Members may apply to use ITT post-nominal titles M.Inst.TT or F.Inst.TT, which will be charged at £55 per person.

Group Membership

ITT will consider group applications from companies offering in-house training programmes – e.g. a multiple travel agency may enrol all employees who pass a recognised in-house training programme. Group Membership applications are tailor-made to suit your business.

Benefits:

  • Use of ITT logo on company literature and in-house training certificates
  • No joining fee – a saving of £30 per member.







Education & training


Student Member

£35 one off fee, up to three years.

Applicants must be participating in an ITT recognised travel and tourism course, studying at college, university or home. Membership is valid for the duration of your course/studies, for up to three consecutive years. 

Student membership puts you on the road to becoming a professional Member - helping you to improve your career prospects.

Additional benefits include:

  • Entitlement of using the post-nominal title - S.Inst.TT - after your name and on your CV
  • Expand your network at the complimentary (London and regional) Network ITT and Future You events
  • Boost your career prospects with the chance of winning one of the prestigious ITT Future You Awards, presented at the ITT Summer Party at the House of Commons

University/College Membership

£600 up to three named Members.

Universities and colleges must offer recognised travel and tourism courses in order to apply for membership.

University/College Members can apply for group discounted membership fees for their students. 

Additional benefits include:

  • Inclusion of your travel and tourism courses on the ITT website
  • Hotlink from your listing to your website
  • Opportunity to apply for ITT Centres of Excellence and Recognised University/College status, including the use of the relevant logo
  • No joining fee for additional educators – a saving of £30 per member.


Named Members may apply to use ITT post-nominal titles M.Inst.TT or F.Inst.TT, which will be charged at £55 per person.





Is my ITT Membership tax deductible?

The annual membership fee covers one year from the month that you join the Institute and is normally tax deductible. If you are entitled to the tax deduction, you will be able to find a section in your self-assessment form to claim it as a tax deductible expense.
