Yana Grundke

Yana started working for Port of Roenne in January 2022, where she was appointed as Chief Business Officer for Cruise. In her role, Yana oversees all aspects of the port´s cruise business, from planning to execution and marketing. Moreover, she oversees the sustainable development of the cruise segment on the island of Bornholm, in close cooperation within Cruise Bornholm Network, port agents, incoming agents, strategic partners, local and national authorities, along with other stakeholders.

Furthermore, on behalf of Port of Roenne, Yana is an active member of Cruise Baltic, Cruise Copenhagen, CLIA and Cruise Europe.

Born and raised in Ukraine, Yana received BA in International Management at Ternopil National Economic University in Ukraine followed by Diploma in International Business and Marketing at Stralsund University of Applied Sciences in Germany.

She started her career in the maritime industry in 2015 in Sassnitz, Germany, when she was appointed to the role of Manager, Business Development Cruise & Ferry for the Mukran Port. In her role Yana was responsible for development of tourism concepts for cruise and ferry shipping at Mukran Port and Port of Sassnitz in cooperation with the local stakeholders.
