Where will the event take place?

The Welcome Reception on Monday 12 September (for Members and Partners only) will be held at the Hacienda del Álamo, located at Camino Casabermeja 130, Frente al Jardin Botanico La Concepción, 29014, Málaga. Transportation between the city centre and the venue will be provided, with more details to follow. 

The CLIA Ports & Destinations Dialogue event on Tuesday 13 September will take place at the newly renovated Hotel NH Málaga, centrally located at Calle San Jacinto, 29007, Málaga. 

The MedCruise VIP, CLIA Diamond Partner and Seatrade Cruise Med Speakers’ Dinner (by invitation only) will be hosted by the Málaga Cruise Port, located at Muelle de Cánovas s/n 29001, Málaga. 

Why should I attend?   

CLIA will host an engaging line-up of sessions and interactive content tailored specifically for the wider ports & destinations community. Participants will have a unique opportunity to interact with industry peers, to discuss the ideas and issues impacting the community and work together as we look ahead to the 2023 cruise season.

Who will attend the event?  

The Dialogue will bring together the ports & destinations community, including cruise line leaders and decision-makers, port authorities, cruise terminals, port agent services, destination management, tourism authorities, shore excursions, ground services, meet and greet, local attractions and transportation services.

Do I need to register for the event?  

Yes, all attendees must register. Click the 'Register Now' button to do so prior to Tuesday, 6 September. 

What types of payments are accepted? 

All major credit cards are accepted in the payment section of the registration process. Payments by wire transfers are available on request. 

I am a CLIA Member or Executive Partner, is there a fee to attend the CLIA Ports & Destinations Dialogue? 

CLIA Members and Executive Partners within the Port, Destination & Travel and Maritime & Technical Services communities are entitled to the following tickets (all prices exclusive of Spanish VAT): 

  • Cruise Line Member 
    Complimentary
  • Diamond Elite Executive Partner 
    Three (3) complimentary registrations for all events. Additional tickets can be purchased to the Welcome Reception for €49 and for the CLIA Ports & Destinations Dialogue at €99.
  • Diamond Executive Partner 
    Two (2) complimentary registrations for all events. Additional tickets can be purchased to the Welcome Reception for €49 and for the CLIA Ports & Destinations Dialogue at €99.
  • Gold Executive Partner 
    One (1) complimentary registration for the CLIA Ports & Destinations Dialogue (including 1:1 Business Exchange). Tickets can be purchased for the Welcome Reception at €49, and additional tickets for the CLIA Ports & Destinations Dialogue at €99.

I am not a CLIA Member or Executive Partner, am I still able to attend the CLIA Ports & Destinations Dialogue?  

Yes, members of other ports & destinations industry associations are eligible to purchase tickets for the CLIA Ports & Destinations Dialogue for €149, which includes the networking lunch and afternoon sessions. Please note this ticket does not include the Welcome Reception on Monday, 12 September or 1:1 Business Exchange on Tuesday, 13 September, which are reserved exclusively for CLIA members and partners.

How do I register multiple people from my organization?  

You will be able to add each guest during the registration process. If you need additional guest tickets, you will also be able to purchase them while registering by choosing the 'additional ticket option' where available.

I am interested in sponsoring the event, who should I contact?

Please contact cliaevents@cruising.org and a member of the team will get back to you regarding available packages. 

What is the cancellation policy?  

You can cancel your registration for a refund of any purchased tickets up to 7 days prior to the event, on Tuesday, 6 September. 

What is the dress code at the events?  

The recommended attire is as follows:

Monday, 12 September – Welcome Reception
Evening: Business Casual 
Tuesday, 13 September – Ports & Destinations Dialogue
Daytime: Business

Am I able to attend the event with my spouse/family member? 

This is a business event, therefore unfortunately it is not possible to attend with a spouse/family member.
