Port of Cartagena

Cartagena, located in the southeastern coast of Spain, offers a 4,500m2 Cruise Terminal that is 700m long and 12m deep, allowing two vessels to berth simultaneously. It features an information point, port police and civil guard centers, bus and taxi parking area.

Many civilizations have settled in Cartagena leaving behind 3,000 years of history: the Punic Cartagena founded around the year 229 BC; the mining riches which converted the city one of the most important colonies of the Roman period; the Arabs and the conquest for the “Castilla”; the military splendor of the XVIII century to its conversion into the Marine Department of the Mediterranean, and the XIX century, when Cartagena lived one of its most glorious time thanks to its industrialization and port traffic.

The region of Murcia has many cultural attractions. Its capital, named as the region, is a modernist city with an amazing Cathedral.
