Senior Vice President at WTTC. With over 25 years of experience in Travel & Tourism Industry building a career in the Commercial Aviation and Hospitality Industry she joined WTTC in 2014. Since 2018 she looks after relations with Members and industry leaders, Commercial, & WTTC Events including the worldwide recognized Global Summit. In 2020 founded Women Leading Tourism whose mission is to foster and promote the presence of women in the highest corporate governance bodies in tourism in accordance with the quantity and quality of female employment in the sector.

Before WTTC she managed the launch and development of the commercial aviation low-cost model in Europe in pioneering companies like Virgin, Go-fly, EasyJet, and Ryanair airlines. She also worked at British Airways as Sales & Marketing Director for Spain, Portugal, and France. She also spent 6 years in the hospitality at Travelodge Hotels Spain as CCO and elected Board Member of the Corporate Association of Hotels in Madrid (AEHM) and Promotion Commission.

Maribel has an extensive network and experience at C-Level and other decision makers in the public and private sector.

Executive MBA at ICADE Business School, a Degree in Industrial Psychology from the University of Salamanca and holds a Senior Executive Program for Travel & Tourism at IESE & JSF.
