Make connections and spark ideas at the UK travel industry's flagship event

Sally Gunnell OBE

Sally Gunnell’s journey is one of resilience, mindset, and performing under pressure. After winning Olympic Gold in the 400m hurdles at Barcelona in 1992, she went on to become World Champion in 1993, breaking the world record in the process. She later added both European and Commonwealth titles to her name — becoming the only woman in history to hold all four major athletic titles simultaneously.

Following her athletics career, Sally became a successful broadcaster with the BBC and ITV, covering some of the world’s biggest sporting events. She is also the author of four books, offering insights into fitness, mindset, and family wellbeing. A highly respected speaker, Sally regularly delivers keynotes to global businesses, leadership teams, and women’s networks, sharing powerful lessons on high performance, resilience, and sustainable wellbeing.

Today, Sally is the founder of Lifeshurdle — a transformational programme created to support women through the hurdles of life such as stressful careers, family demands, menopause, elderly parent care, empty nesting etc. Combining expert-led strength training, nutrition education, mindset coaching, and community accountability, Lifeshurdle helps women rebuild confidence, energy, and strength — not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too.
