Carl Honoré is an award-winning writer, broadcaster and two-time TED speaker. After working with street children in Brazil, he covered Europe and South America for the Economist, Observer, Time and other publications.
His bestselling books on the surprising power of 'slow' in a fast world have been published in 36 languages. Carl presented The Slow Coach on BBC Radio 4, Frantic Family Rescue on Australia’s ABC TV and created a TED Course called How To Slow Down. His online videos have more than 10 million views. While researching his first book on slow, Carl was slapped with a speeding ticket.
