Ruth Marshall

Ruth Marshall is a commercially focused executive leader with over 25 years of experience in three complex multi-national PLCs. She served as Managing Director of a multi-billion revenue company and General Counsel of an international business. A strategic thinker, she’s driven business efficiencies and managed complex legal and compliance issues globally. A relationship-builder and believer in clear communication, Ruth enjoys encouraging others to develop. With corporate governance and C-suite experience, she’s committed to corporate regulatory compliance, ethics and Diversity and Inclusion.

Her leadership roles, including Non-Executive Director positions, have honed her sound commercial judgment, making her a sought-after advisor. She has worked with leading travel brands such as British Airways, TUI, and Royal Caribbean Group, and has served on industry boards including ABTA, the Chamber of Shipping, and CLIA.

Joining Royal Caribbean Group in 2007 as Legal Director for Europe, Ruth rose to Associate Vice President, then Vice President International General Counsel and Managing Director, overseeing global legal matters and shipboard issues. She has been key in lobbying for the cruise and travel sectors in the UK and Europe.

A qualified UK Solicitor, Ruth resides in the UK with her family. She is passionate about travel, people in the industry, and charity work, including hiking and running.
