Alistair Rowland has been an active member of the ABTA Board since 2012 representing the large agent sector and was appointed Chairman in June 2019. 

Alistair is also Group Chief Executive Officer of Blue Bay Travel, a position he has held since 2020. Prior to this, he spent a decade running the largest UK Travel Co-operative alongside a number of Specialist Businesses including a National Nursery operation, Healthcare Group, Funeral Group and Communications Provider, serving B2B and B2C at Executive level as part of the Senior Team at Midcounties Co-operative.
