Vera Lannek

Vera Lannek is an operations and procurement executive with 20+ years of international experience in the maritime, defense, medical device, and investment banking industries. In her current assignment, Vera is Vice President for Global Sourcing at Carnival Corporation.

Prior to her role with Carnival, Vera worked for container shipping giant Maersk in Copenhagen, overseeing several procurement and operations functions. Vera also served as an officer in the United States Navy where she held multiple operational roles in Iraq, Afghanistan, Korea, Germany and at sea.

Vera’s management style centers on building teams and helping each person realize their full potential. She creates trust and credibility throughout the organization by taking a collaborative, data-driven and sustainable approach to procurement.

Vera is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD and holds an MBA from New York University. A native of Massachusetts, Vera and her husband have two children.
