Mark is a globally experienced and recognized industry leader in sustainability, consumer goods and telecommunications. Mark is Co Founder of Wholechain, the only FDA-Award Winning Traceability Systems to also be verified capable by Global Dialogue on Seafood Traceability and GS1’s EPCIS data standard. Mark is also a Non-Resident Fellow with the Chicago Council on Global Affairs focused on Food & Agriculture and leading the UN Global Compact Oceans, Food and Nature Based Solutions Network to be based in Chicago.

Prior to creating Wholechain, Mark was Co-Founder and CEO of Envisible; a sustainable seafood sourcing company responsible for winning the 2021 Store Brands Gold Award for Full Circle Market Wild Sockeye Salmon as the top rated meat of 2021, the 2022 Store Brands Impact Award for Ethical Sourcing and Supply Chain Transparency, and the 2023 Progressive Grocer Impact Award for for Ethical Sourcing and Supply Chain Transparency. Envisible was recently sold to Arkk Food.

Prior to Envisible, Global VP of Sustainable Solutions for Unilever. At Unilever, Mark was responsible for integrating technology across the Chief Sustainability Office's initiatives, expand existing digital partnerships and establish new digital partnerships.

Prior to Unilever, Mark was CEO of Tone Mobile LLC, a start-up focused on digital inclusion that led the mFish Initiative with U.S. State Department, Government of Indonesia and GSM Association of the world’s mobile operators. The mFish Initiative created mobile services to improve the livelihoods of small scale fishers in Indonesia. mFish won the 2016 D&AD Wood Pencil, Hollywood A-List Bronze for Most Innovative Use of Mobile Technology in the World. mFish was also shortlisted for OneShow and Cannes Lions Awards in Mobile.
