Fran Golden

Fran Golden is an award-winning travel writer who focuses on the cruise industry. Her work regularly appears in such leading publications as Bloomberg Pursuits and Businessweek, Travel + Leisure, AFAR and Conde Nast Traveler.

Fran's writing about cruises has been recognized with awards by the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW) Lowell Thomas Foundation and the North American Travel Journalists Association (NATJA)—and is often informed by her sailing on more than 170 ships (and counting!) during her career.

Her resume includes travel editor for the Boston Herald and Gatehouse Media, travel news editor for AOL and cruise editor for Travel Weekly. She developed the Experience Cruise website for USA Today. Early in her career, she worked in radio and as a TV reporter in Connecticut.
