Lucienne Damm

Lucienne has a diploma degree in political science of the Free University Berlin and has worked in the field of sustainability and environmental protection for over 15 years. As Head of Sustainability of TUI Cruises, a German cruise line operator with the two brands Mein Schiff and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, she is responsible among others the company’s overall sustainability strategy & climate roadmap and supporting projects, as well as the environmental management system (ISO 14001) and reporting processes.

Her key focus at the moment is to implement the companys' ambitious carbon reduction strategy with verified Science based Targets (SBTs) until 2030 and a clear commitment to net-zero until 2050.

She is involved in TUI Cruises new build projects, always looking for sustainability innovations.

Since 2015, Lucienne is member of the Executive board of Futouris e.V., since 2022 she is the appointed Chairwoman of the Executive Board. She is also a member of the Sustainability Committee of DRV (German Travel Association).

Her former positions include a Research position at the Research Centre for Environmental Policy in Berlin and a position as Policy Officer for Transport at NABU e.V. in Berlin, one of Germany’s largest nature and biodiversity conservation NGO. She was Assistant Researcher at the Columbia University Berlin, studying Environmental Policies at the Earth Institute.
