He works for Costa Group heading Port Investment & Destination Management, based in the UK. He joined Carnival Corporation & Plc in 2012 with responsibility for strategic corporate port & destination development in the EuroMed/Arabian Gulf areas.
He is the Managing Director of Barcelona Cruise Terminal SLU and Santa Cruz Terminal SLU, the subsidiaries overseeing the terminals in Barcelona and Santa Cruz de Tenerife and a member of Carnival UK DC pension scheme governance committee. He is also a Director of the joint venture company established between Carnival Corporation & plc and Shamal Holding to develop and manage the Dubai Harbour Cruise Terminal, a 2 cruise terminals facility, which opened in December 2021 and which is part of the Dubai Harbour development.
Prior to joining Carnival Corporation & Plc, he spent fifteen years working in London for EY, Corus Group Plc, Schroder Salomon Smith Barney and PricewaterhouseCoopers where he specialized in M&A and fund raising.
He earned degrees in Economics and Spanish at the universities of Nantes in France and Valencia in Spain as well as a Master of Arts in banking & finance from the University of Wales. He is fluent in French, Spanish and English.
Mr Nestour also qualified as a UK Chartered Accountant in 2000.
