Senior Director MARINE Excellence Centres of RINA Services S.p.A. with 38-year experience within RINA, especially developed in the field of ships’ and offshore units’ machinery, electrical and automation systems, including electrical propulsion plants of passenger ships.

RINA Member of the IACS Working Party on Electricity and of the IACS Machinery Panel.

Member of the CEI Italian National Committee TC18 “Electrical installations of ships and of mobile and fixed offshore units” since 1993, and CEI TC18 Italian Chairmanship in 2004 up to 2015.

Chairman since 2002 up to now of ACAE (Association for the certification of electrical apparatus, member of LOVAG)’.

Director of ENR (Ente Nazionale di Ricerca e promozione per la standardizzazione) since December 2018.
